Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer (LEIESC0325)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Electrical/Instrumentation design team to implement and complete FEED and Detail Design work.
  • Review E&I specifications and requirements for the assigned project, ensuring compliance with industry standards, classification society, and regulatory requirements.
  • Advise and approve E&I data sheets, specifications, and drawings specific to the assigned project.
  • Conduct kick-off meetings with selected vendors to clarify issues, finalize project scope, and ensure timely provision of accurate documents and specifications.
  • Manage assigned E&I packages, ensuring the delivery of electrical systems according to the project schedule.
  • Review electrical layouts, instrumentation diagrams, and 3D models, including work performed by overseas offices.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, codes (IEC, IEEE), and best practices.
  • Conduct electrical load analysis, instrumentation selection, and control system optimization.
  • Review and approve detailed contractor documents and drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in shipbuilding or electrical engineering, with at least 10 years of experience related to FPSO/FPU projects.
  • Proven knowledge of Classification Rules and Offshore Standards/Regulations such as DNV, ABS, API, Norsok, and IEC.
  • Experience with AVEVA Electrical & Instrumentation is preferred.
