Guide and lead the structure and outfitting design team to execute and complete the FEED and detailed design work for FPSO/FPU topside structure engineering.
Approve steel structure stability and fatigue strength calculation reports, calculation notes, and material specifications.
Optimize the structure layout with cost-saving measures while ensuring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
Manage interfaces among multiple disciplines and provide training for in-house team members.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Naval Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas industry.
Extensive experience in leading or directly participating in the complete topside structure design process, including FEED and detailed design, for Fixed Offshore Platforms, FPSO modules, and platform reassessments.
Proficient in engineering analysis software such as SACS and Sesam GeniE, with good knowledge of steel structure 3D design software like AM and Tekla.
Proven experience with Classification Rules and related Offshore Standards/Regulations, including API, AISC, DNV, ABS, BV, and ASME.
