Process Safety Lead Engineer (PSLE0825)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the process safety team to implement and complete the oil & gas process system FEED and Detail Design work.
  • Review and approve the active fire protection systems such as fire water system, gaseous firefighting system as well as passive fire proofing systems.
  • Review and approve the plant or module layout to address safety related concerns.
  • Manage HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPA reviews workshop, SIL assessment workshop, RAM workshop and so on, lead to close out the all action list.
  • Be able to perform some consequence analysis, develop Performance Standards for Safety Critical Systems, maintain a Hazard and Risk Register, review studies performed by third party contractors: Fire & Explosion Analysis, Quantitative Risk Assessment, Facility Siting Study, Emergency System Survivability Analysis, Escalation Risk Assessment, Environment Impact Assessments and any other activity in support of the Safety Report for a Major Hazard Facility.
  • Responsible for Safety MTO cost control, design schedule and quality guarantee. 

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or above in chemical or oil & gas engineering with at least 8 years related process engineering experience. 
  • Ideally directly participated or led the topside process technical safety works (incl. FEED and detailed design) for FPSO / Production platform. 
  • Familiarity with FPSO / WHP International Codes/ Standards (API, IP, IEC, NFPA, CAP, UK HSE, SOLAS, NORSOK, OGP, EN).
