Support Process Design Team: Implement and complete the oil & gas process system FEED and Detail Design work.
Guide Junior Engineers: Mentor junior process engineers and review their deliverables, including equipment and instrumentation datasheets, line and equipment sizing, and relief valve sizing calculations.
Schedule Development & Quality Assurance: Assist in developing schedules, defining scope of work, estimating manpower, and ensuring the quality of process design deliverables.
Document Review & Optimization: Review customer documents, specifications, datasheets, FEED design verification, and calculations, and propose optimization strategies.
Process Simulation & Design: Conduct process simulation analysis and design calculations, optimize PFD/PID processes, select and size process equipment, and provide inputs for C&E diagrams, control narratives, and shutdown philosophies.
Operational Support: Support the development of Operation and Control Philosophy, Process Design Basis, and Overall Utility Consumption.
Safety Analysis: Participate in Process Hazard Analysis, HAZIDs, HAZOPS, LOPA, facility siting studies, etc.
Technical Support: Prepare and support responses to technical questions from clients, classification societies, vendors, and third parties.
Key Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or Oil & Gas Engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of relevant process engineering experience.
Topside Process Design: Direct participation or leadership in topside process design work, including FEED and detailed design for FPSO/Production platforms.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ASPEN HYSYS and Flaresim simulation programs, with knowledge of PipeNet, SPI, and Aveva Diagram.
Regulatory Knowledge: Proven experience with Classification Rules and related Offshore Standards/Regulations.
